So over the past couple of weeks, I’ve come to realize that I’m addicted to exercising and working out now. I absolutely can’t get enough of it (unless I’m hurting from an injury, which I am currently nursing a irritated knee ==). P90x really turned me into a unsatisfiable monster for exercise. Partly because I want that six pack! I’m getting there..
Prime example is this weekend:
I did my normal Legs/Back workout with abs on Friday and then had Dragonboat practice on Saturday afternoon. After which I went out with friends, drank and had a jolly good time celebrating a friend’s birthday. I went to sleep at 3am. The catch? I had to wake up early to run a 5k. But, I was looking forward to it :D. I woke up at 8am feeling absolutely like an old man, sore back and everything. But I ran the 5k in 21:48. Best 5k I’ve run in a while. Makes me feel like I am doing something right with my fitness :). Today I am nursing a irritated knee, sore calves and an angry back. But I still kind of want to do some pullups and strength stuff..but its my rest week for p90x. I’ll probably do a bunch of stretching today to get rid of this soreness. Looking forward to my core workout tomorrow :D! Only 1.5 weeks left of p90x round 2. Then its onto INSANITY, which I’ve been looking forward to for the past 2 weeks.
One thing I really need to get better about is sleeping more..but sleep leaves me less time to do stuff during the day..what a problem :P.
P.S. kdramas have taken over my life. I’m watching City Hunter right now..so good.
